Mobile Broadband speed in UK

Aen conducted in London's cozy offices, but one of the surveys is done in out parts of UK to cement the point. big number of mobile broadband users in UK, often faces problem of slow speed.

These tests were conducted under dongles manufacturers like- Huawei (O2, Orange, T-Mobile & Vodafone), Zhong Xing Telecommunication (T-Mobile), TCT (Virgin media).
More than 10 tests were done with each dongle. Results shown noticeable improvement of speed unlike last year, Vodafone's dongle remain best, showing no fails with 2MB speed.

T-mobile touched the speed of 3MB, 3 and O2 remained just above the speed of 1MB each. Orange gave disappointing results by remaining at the speed of under 1MB. O2 shows impressive results with the same dongle they offered last year. Virgin Mobile remained consistent with the same speed it shown last year, which was 1.8MB. T-Mobile, 3, Orange topped the survey, by showing just two fails each.

If we talk about average download speed, then T-Mobile is on the top with around 1.8MB of average speed, but fluctuations were noticed. Virgin Mobile remained consistent with the speed which was just considerable faster than last year, this time it was 1.8MB. Virgin Mobile and Vodafone, without many fluctuations ran on a speed of 1.5MB and 1.2Mb respectively. O2 seems struggling at the speed of 0.8MB, 3and Orange remained weakest by showing the speed of 0.5MB only.

The results of downloading and streaming shows some interesting results. These tests have been conducted by downloading data and streaming videos on Youtube etc.

This time 3's dongle performed outstanding by downloading 20MB file in just 1 minute and 24 seconds, which is just the half of time duration it took last year. On the other hand T-Mobile downloaded 13MB in 22 seconds. Vodafone remained pretty consistent and shown really good performance. Orange failed to finish even one download, breaking the signal even trying for long 12 minutes.
